The Osborne Family

Clifford had a spinal fusion on his back resulting with him having to learn to walk again after being laid up for approximately one year. He lost loss control of his balance requiring him to have a special medical device in the case he falls and cannot get back up.

Jamie had suffered two strokes. Following her first stroke, her health condition prevented Jamie from being able to perform her job duties which resulted in a loss of income.  Her second stoke caused her to go into a coma for seven days in the ICU. A further hardship was that she did not have health insurance at that time.  Jamie is under the care of medical specialists.

It was noticeable that they both care for their home as they maintain the interior as much as they can and the grounds of the exterior as well.  The 2018-2019 season’s heavy winds and heavy rainfalls took a toll on their home.

Clifford and Jamie have been lucky with friends & family support.  Yet the obvious is they are indeed financially overwhelmed.  As Jamie indicated in her letter of circumstances: “I’m not asking for a remodel that can come with time and a piece at a time.  I am asking for repairs only.”

We were very happy to have helped Jamie & Clifford with a new roof, gutters, and fascia.  We also attached their bathroom pedestal sink, fixed a faucet, and installed a missing closing arm for their screen door.
