At the Annual Banquet on Saturday, November 9th the Builders Association of Northwest Pennsylvania (BANWPA) announced winners of the 2019 Awards of Excellence.
An Erie home was recognized for the New Construction Energy Efficiency and Sustainability category, as the year’s most energy-efficient residential property built in Northwestern Pennsylvania. The award, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Energy Efficient New Homes Program, was presented to Maleno Builders.
Maleno partnered with Operation Christmas Child to pack 500 shoeboxes for children in need, continuing a 5-year tradition of spreading joy worldwide.
Hundreds of people attended and marched in the 2019 McDowell Homecoming Parade, including Maleno.
When Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania announced they were observing Hunger Action Month in September, the Maleno Property Management team immediately hopped on board. Hunger Action Month is a time for people all over America to stand together with the nationwide network of food banks to fight hunger. It’s a month to spread the word and take action on the hunger crisis, and dedicate ourselves to a solution.
Maleno promised bigger and better for their 3rd Annual Block Party, and they delivered! The block party is one of the ways Maleno Property Management shows its appreciation to the residents within their apartment communities.
After many months of hard work, the lighthouse playhouse, so generously gifted to the Port Authority by Maleno is finally complete! Standing tall at 14’ wide by 17’ tall this new playhouse is an exciting new addition to Liberty Park just in time for ERIEBANK 8 Great Tuesdays. The new lighthouse playhouse is a perfect fit for Liberty Park with its already nautical themed playground, and water centered community.
