Maleno Celebrates National Random Acts of Kindness Week with Support for Erie City Mission

Erie, PA. In a wonderful show of community spirit, Maleno once again brought together employees, apartment residents, and homeowners from the South Pointe neighborhood to celebrate National Random Acts of Kindness Week with a heartfelt initiative. This year’s effort centered once again on supporting the Erie City Mission, a cornerstone organization dedicated to providing shelter, meals, and programs that help individuals and families in Erie achieve stability and hope.

The Erie City Mission continues its mission of “Restoring Hope, Transforming Lives,” addressing the diverse needs of the local community while providing resources and guidance to break the cycle of hardship.

Spearheading this year’s initiative were Natalie Washburn, Owner/Broker of Maleno Real Estate, and James Washburn, Director of Finance, who personally delivered the donations to the Mission. They were greeted by Sandell Snyder, Director of Operations at the Erie City Mission, who was on hand to receive the contributions and express gratitude for the community’s support.

Natalie, a longstanding supporter of the organization, reflected on the community’s generosity:

The donations included both cash contributions and a variety of items from the Mission’s needs list, including laundry supplies, personal care items, and other essentials for men, women, and youth.
