Mary Helen Lindsey

Ms. Lindsey of 1140 E. 30th Street applied to the fund looking for help with her home which is used to raise and care for several foster children as well as children of her own. Ms. Lindsey has been fostering children for the past 25 years and has housed over 82 children throughout that time. Being disabled herself this has not been an easy task but she has overcome many obstacles to continue giving to others!

The Maleno Family to Family Fund is in the process of renovating her home to make caring for these children easier for Ms. Lindsey. She will be receiving 2 new bathrooms, new kitchen cabinets,countertop and sink, as well as some new hardware throughout the house, new screens on the windows, new exterior doors, a new shed in the rear as well some landscaping work on the exterior!
